Founder & Creative Director at level

"If I could build anything, it would be a tool that gives people true visibility into the physical products they use—where they come from, what they're made of, and how they impact people and the planet. Imagine snapping a photo and instantly seeing a product's materials, carbon footprint, factory origin, labor conditions, and repairability or recycling options. Powered by AI, this tool would pull from public data—import records, supply chain reports, material databases, certifications—and distill it into clear insights for everyday consumers. Over time, it could suggest better alternatives or highlight ethical, sustainable brands. As a designer, I’ve walked factory floors around the world and seen firsthand the stark differences in how products are made. I’ve also seen how often companies prioritize optics over substance. Without transparency, consumers can't make informed choices—and that needs to change."
